A Day with the Jives Aces

Hello,
Last Sunday we were invited to join the Jive Aces at the Churchill Square Shopping Centre in Brighton. The Jive Aces are a jive and swing band that have supported the Church of Scientology’s “Say No to Drugs, Say Yes to Life” campaign for many years, giving concerts all over the world to raise awareness of the dangers of drugs.

When asked about the band's strong anti-drugs stance, lead singer Ian Clarkson said, “People look up to musicians and see them taking drugs and think that they then have to use them to be a great artist. What they don’t realise is that, without drugs, they would be a lot happier, play a lot better and live a lot longer.”
The Jive Aces CDs were sold, information booklets on drugs were distributed and I passed around a Narconon Hastings Newsletter to introduce us and our program. We joined in the anti-drug message, were promoted as the drug-free answer to addiction and received a donation for Narconon from the Jive Aces from the sales of their CDs that day.
We’d like to thank The Jive Aces for a great day and for supporting our purpose to help people become stably drug free.
